Starting Up Again

It's me again! Sorry it's been so long...we are still getting used to having a baby and getting everything done. I'm trying to take lots of pictures and video, so we will do our best to post them so everyone can see Josie's progress.

Josie is starting to smile, and she is getting more alert and active. She is now 9 weeks old, and she is over 9 lbs! She has made the big move from newborn clothes to 0-3 month clothes...so we are starting to put her in new outfits. She loves her swing and she loves to look at mobiles and objects hanging from her activity bar. She will even hit them if she can reach them.

She has rolled over once (when she was very little and she was made that I was making her do "tummy time"), and she has grabbed and shaken a rattle on her own once (again, she was mad...her pacifier fell out of her mouth so she grabbed the rattle next to her and shook it above her head!).

She has lots of personality, and we can't wait to see what the future brings!

Below is a video of Josie starting to show her personality. She loves to move her arms and legs...it makes her smile. She is also starting to coo and make other funny sounds.

Here's a fun video of Josie trying out her new arms and legs. She seems to be enjoying all of the punching and kicking though she's not afraid to mix in a cry, sneeze or yawn while flailing around. She's very talented.
